I'm Laura. I grew up in Exeter, studied and lived in London, and am now based in Manchester, UK. I'm passionate about writing, travelling, and making a positive impact in our society. I've been creating content for charities for over 10 years, reaching over 100,000 people! 

Before delving into freelancing, I contracted in charity communications - for national charities like Citizens Advice, the British Red Cross and Independent Age.

Listed as a finalist for Digital Woman For Good and Digital Woman Freelancer in the UK Digital Woman Awards 2023, I'm a self-employed charity copywriter for small and large charities, community interest companies, social enterprises and membership organisations.
 

This includes writing and building emails for Haven House Children's Hospice, to case studies and fundraising campaigns for Ovarian Cancer Action, web copy for Mind's award-winning Blue Light Programme and Mental Health at Work, and the 2023/24 annual report for Scope.
